Memorial services for Clara Elaine Likens, 59, of Cadiz, were held on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. Danny Mitcheson officiated. The family chose cremation. King’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Clara Larkins died of natural causes at 1:05 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Cadiz.

She was born on May 8, 1953, in East Chicago, Ind., to Sherman Likens and Geraldine Edwards Likens.

She was of the Baptist faith and was an elevator operator.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Likens; and one nephew, James Phillip Likens.

She is survived by her mother, Geraldine Edwards Likens, of Cadiz; one brother, Phillip Likens (and wife Vicki) of Cadiz; one sister, Karen Gibson of Jeffersonville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
