He made the announcement during Monday’s meeting of Trigg County Recreation Complex Board, during which members discussed the latest TCYAA (Trigg County Youth Athletic Association) season and potential future improvements to the Complex when they met Monday evening.
“We just wrapped up our third year at the Complex,” said TCYAA President Scott Brown. “We see no need to wreck a good thing right now … The last few years have worked well.”
Brown said that the TCYAA board voted in favor of another two-year contract with the Complex.
The Complex Board’s next meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10. The current contract basically states that the Complex is responsible for keeping the grounds in working condition, while the TCYAA in responsible for operating the leagues and answering complaints.
Complex Board Chairman Jason Strickland said the TCYAA fielding complaints takes some of the load off of the shoulders of the director.
