Dorothy Haney died of natural causes at 5:15 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at her home in Cadiz.
She was born on March 25, 1924, in Calumet City, Ill., to Anthony and Bernice Lesczynski Wisowaty.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Calumet City, Ill. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary No. 74, Trigg County Homemakers and the Rosary Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry “Bud” Haney, Jr.; three brothers, Paul, Tony and Leonard Wisowaty; and two sisters, Anna Sejda and Lillian McClanahan.
She is survived by one brother, Arthur Wisowaty of Calumet City, Ill.; two daughters, Deborah Colbert (and husband David) of Cadiz and Bonita McCubbin of Atlanta, Ga.; one son-in-law, Jim Vasilak of Hammond, Ind.; five grandchildren, Tracy Frazier, Brian and Holly McCubbin, Kimberly and Jacob Booror, Daniel Vasilak and Julianne Vasilak; four great-grandchildren Cameron Frazier, Ashley Frazier, Caylin McCubbin and Brooke McCubbin.
