“We had 250 ornaments, and we sold out of them in three days, and we’re ordering 250 more,” said Shore. “We originally were going to order 150, but decided to order 250. And we’ve had people from Paducah, Benton, Dawson Springs and Murray who want these ornaments.”
The next order of Eggner Ferry Bridge ornaments will ship on Wednesday, Dec. 5, and there is already a waiting list, including one person in Murray who wants 30, said Shore, who added that they were and will be sold at the Museum – located on Jefferson Street at the old Senior Center – Cadiz Hardware and Mildred’s Flowers.
Shore says that the Golden Pond exhibit, which opened in August, has been one of the more successful in the museum’s two years at that location, and covers Golden Pond and Land Between the Rivers.
