“Our goal this year is to be able to provide Bright Life Farm with enough to pay off a steel storage building,” said Martinazzi.
Bright Life Farms, Inc., is a home for adults with special needs in Princeton.
The race will start near the Trigg County Schools parking lot on Lafayette Street and will then go down Main Street. It will then follow Ky. 139 back to the school starting are and finish under the Purdue Field lights. The parade will start at 6 p.m.
Martinazzi said cones and lights will be brought in, and traffic will be tightly controlled, so both Main Street and Ky. 139 should be very safe and very well lit.
Race day registration will be held from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. and will cost $20. The awards ceremony, the door prizes, water and cookies will be offered in the Trigg County Middle School Gymnasium.
