Lynndale Harper died on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
He was a native of Lyon County and was the son of the late Roy Lynn and Ada Thelma Harper. He was a retired maintenance superintendent for Bruce Hardwood Flooring and a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
Mr. Harper is survived by his wife of 51 years Dotty Jane Harper of Lavergne, Tenn.; two sisters, Elsie Tinsley and Teresa Harper; one brother, Kenneth Harper; three sons, Lanny Harper (and wife Christel) of Chapel Hill, Tenn., Shawn Harper (and wife Ginny) of Benton and Dana Harper (and wife Alicia) of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Carissa Obney (and husband Roy) of Springhill, Tenn., and LeAndra, Erika, Megan, Audree and Declan Harper; and two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Mason Obney.
