Jane Mitchell died following a short illness at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Princeton Health and Rehab Center in Princeton. Morgan’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Jane was on born May 30, 1930, in Trigg County to the late Ben and Nell Harriett Robertson Adams.
She retired from Mid Continent where she was a spring assembler. Jane was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon Standard Mitchell; and one brother, Howard Adams.
She is survived by six brothers, Waldon, Walter “Mort”, Jesse and Elbert Adams, all of Cadiz, D.C. Adams of Hopkinsville and David Adams of Madisonville; three sisters, Martha Lumpkin of Little Rock, Ark., and Betty Lou Herndon and Iva West, both of Cadiz; three sons, Blakely Mitchell (and wife Barbara) of Caldwell County, Marvin Mitchell (and wife Bettie) of Caldwell County and Jerry Glenn Mitchell (and wife Kelly) of Cadiz; one daughter, Sheila Mitchell Hulsey (and husband Roger) of Madisonville; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
