James E. Chappell
Funeral services for James E. Chappell, 75, of Radcliff, formerly of Cadiz, will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville with visitation from 11 a.m. until the service hour. The Rev. M. O. Fort will officiate. Burial with full military rites will be held at the Kentucky Veteran West Cemetery in Hopkinsville. Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
James Chappell died of natural causes on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at his home in Radcliff.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1937, in Trigg County to Leonard Chappell and Mary Sarah Humphries Chappell.
James was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Retired Sgt. Major.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
James is survived by two brothers, Charlie Chappell of Columbia, S.C. and Leroy Martin of Cadiz.
