Lindsey Sholar died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at 7:59 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at 795 Rockcastle Road, Cadiz.
Lindsey was born on June 4, 1995, in Hopkinsville to the late Johnny W. Sholar and Gayla Curtis Sholar.
Lindsey was of the Baptist faith. She was a senior at Trigg County High School where she was elected Most Dependable from the senior class. Lindsey was a member of FCCLA, Environmental Science Club, Friends of Rachel, Interact/Rotary Club where she was a recipient of a Scholarship to Murray State University.
In addition to her father, Lindsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Boyce Curtis; and her paternal grandparents, Ernest and Mary Frances Sholar.
She is survived by her mother, Gayla Curtis Sholar of Cadiz; maternal grandmother, Carol Curtis of Cadiz; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers were Andrew Dunn, Tanner Bush, Duncan Mangels, Andrew Gray, Nicholas Herndon and Christopher Herndon. Music was provided by Betty Oakley, pianist.
