To the Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Trigg County and its citizens on producing such a wonderful Christmas parade. My daughters and I were visiting a friend in the area this previous weekend and were fortunate enough to be able to attend the parade and visit the Janice Mason Art Museum. The Christmas tree display there was awesome and my elementary age children love it. I particularly enjoyed the carolers out front and the way that residents were visiting with one another on the street while waiting for the parade to start.

Other than when my children were very young, and visited Disney World, they had never seen a lighted parade. I understand that there had been talk about discontinuing it. I hope that this does not become the case, as we plan on returning next year. We had many favorites.

Thanks to all for a lovely evening. We are learning more and more why Trigg county residents are so proud of their community.
