Ann McAtee died of natural causes at 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville.
She was born on Oct. 7, 1922, in Cadiz to Clarence and Janie Malone McAtee.
Ann McAtee was a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church. She retired as a payroll clerk form Papermate Pen Co. in Chicago, Ill. She was a member of Wallonia Homemakers Club, Trigg County Historical Society where she had served as treasurer. She was also a volunteer at John L. Street Library for 30 years.
Ann McAtee was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Janie Malone McAtee; two brothers, William C. McAtee and Frank McAtee; and three sisters, Jane Clawson, Elizabeth McAtee and Mary Alice McAtee.
She is survived by one brother, Robert McAtee of Cadiz; one sister-in-law, Freda McAtee of Cadiz; one brother-in-law, Jack Clawson of Princeton; four nephews, Wayne McAtee, Jimmy McAtee, Jimmy Clawson and Rob Clawson; and six neices, Janice Bush, Carolyn Stevenson, Teresa Woodall, Paula Maddox, Mary Jane Stewart and Jo Alyce Harper.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne McAtee, Jimmy McAtee, Buddy Maddox, Andy Stewart, John McAtee, Conrad Martin and Don Bush. Music will be provided by Pam Witty, pianist.
