Nancy Jones died of natural causes at 3:36 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
She was born on Oct. 11, 1928, in Benham to Robert Earl and Carrie Belle Romans Baldwin.
Nancy was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond with degrees in chemistry and home economics. After graduation she went to work for Union Carbide in Oak Ridge, Tenn., as a lab chemist and later retired as a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed her love of sewing and mother nature, particularly gardening and hummingbirds.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Jones; four brothers, William Samuel Baldwin, John Calvin Baldwin, Noland Yontis “Tack” Baldwin and Robert Donelson Baldwin; two daughters, Marquita Jones and Lisa Carroll Jones; and one son-in-law, Brian Boudewyns.
She is survived by one brother, Alan Romans Baldwin of Morehead; three daughters, Beverly Jimenez (and husband Stephen) of Lincoln, Neb., Dianne Bosher (and husband Rudy) of Chesterfield, Va., and Roxanne Boudewyns of Dublin, Ga.; three sons, Randall Jones (and wife Ciella) of Houston, Texas, Robert Jones of Cadiz and Nelson Jones of Nacogdoches, Texas; nine grandchildren, Crystal Clark, Tyler Jones, Michael Jones, Malcolm Jones, Selena Jones, Christine Bosher, Carl Bosher, Jason Bosher and Rebecca Boudewyn; and five great-grandchildren, Trinity, Jett, Traeh, Chazlen and Aberlen.
