All three bills from Trigg County were passed by student delegates at the Assembly.
Bill Authors include, Mackayla Phillips, Tori Ricks, Kyle Bleidt, Grayson Ford, Carter Sholar, Kimberlee Shelton, Alexis Kent, Abby Bush, Alex Ethridge, Riley Stallons, and Ethan Nolcox.
The bill presented by Phillips, Ricks, and Bleidt entitled: An Act to Mandate Public School Bus Drivers to be Certified in American Red Cross CPR and First Aid, was signed into law by the student Governor and will be part the docket when the 2013 Kentucky Assembly convenes in January.
Also receiving and individual award was Eighth grader, Grayson Ford, as he was one of twelve delegates receiving an “Outstanding Delegate Award”
There were approximately 1080 students from the commonwealth in attendance at this year’s conference. Again, congratulations to all the 38 delegates representing Trigg County Middle School.
