The generous buyers who have already made a huge donation to Trigg County 4-H are now donating the hams to others. The grand champion ham was purchased by Kentucky Machine and Engineering, Bank of Cadiz, Lawrence Brother Farms, Carver Oil Company and Christian County Livestock.
Chappell Allen asked that his ham be donated to Shady Lawn Nursing Home. The buyers of the reserve champion ham, Trigg County Farm Bureau and Fourshee Building Supply asked that their ham be given to the Trigg County Senior Citizen Center.
So in this case, re-gifting is a wonderful thing, three different organizations have benefited from this generous gift. Thanks to all the supporter and bidders on the 4-H ham auction.
