Several wrestlers from Trigg County competed this weekend in the annual Christian County Invitational. Trigg grapplers return to the mat Saturday when they host a dual meet.

Malik Cunningham (140-pound weight class) and Devonte Turner (92) both placed first at Friday’s middle school Christian County Invitational. Colin Stevens (113) took third place.Maurice Catlett (heavyweight) placed second in the junior varsity tournament Friday.

In Saturday’s varsity tournament, Jerimiah Kline (above, 115) and Aaron Stevens (222) each took first place and Jayven Jones (160) and Austin Durham (170) each finished in fourth place. Cunningham and Turner also placed first and second respectively Dec. 22 in the Hopkinsville middle school tournament.
