Louise Joyce died of natural causes at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at her home.
She was born on May 9, 1925, in Bisco, Ark., to Lewis and Hallie Turner Sherbut.
Louise Joyce was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Lee “Red” Joyce; one son, Charlie Joyce; and one grandson, Scotty Gray.
She is survived by one brother, Gilbert Sherbut of Cadiz; one sister, Flossie Mitchell of Cadiz; one daughter, Carol Colley (and husband Bill) of Cadiz; two sons, Danny Joyce (and wife Connie) of Princeton and Johnny Joyce of Cadiz; six grandchildren, Billy Colley, Michael Joyce, Lisa Joyce, Kimberly Winders, Danielle Edmonson and Cole Joyce; and 11 great-grandchildren, Taylor Gray, Nathan Gray, Emily Colley, Joey Colley, Tanner Harper, Darla Harper, Devin Harper, Haydn Winders, Aiden Joyce, Hallie Joyce and Mattie Joyce.
Serving as pallbearers were Billy Colley, Mike Joyce, Jack Cotton, John Sherbut, Matt Winders, David Edmonson, Nathan Gray, Cole Joyce and Devin Harper. Music was provided by Jack Cotton, vocalist and Nita Mitchell, pianist.
