Earl Freeman died of natural causes at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at his home.
Earl was born on July 11, 1936, in Trigg County to Claude and Mary Magdalene Armstrong Freeman.
Earl was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Claude and Mary Freeman.
Earl is survived by his wife of 47, Judy Hall Freeman of Cadiz; one brother, James Robert Freeman (and wife Charlene) of Cadiz; two sisters, Martha Louise Reiter of California and Mildred Anne Oliver (and husband Ronnie) of Princeton; three sons, Robert Earl Freeman of Cadiz, John Wayne Freeman (and wife Sheryl) of Hope, Ind., and Stephen Scott Freeman of Cadiz; three aunts, Lucille Hester of Hopkinsville, Mattie Armstrong of Waverly, Tenn., and Ethel Dell Freeman of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Gary Wayne Freeman, Andy Hart, Chuck Cummins, R.J. Oliver, Tommy Hall and Walter Earl Freeman. Honorary pallbearers were Josh Freeman, Kyle Freeman, Josh Freeman, Sam Freeman, Janson James, Paxton James, Tony James and Kendell Finley. Music was provided by Becky Freeman, vocalist, and Barbara Jean Futrell, pianist.
