Funeral services for David Pendley, 30, of Madisonville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013. at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. Rodney Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Caldwell County. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

David Pendley died on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at his home in Madisonville.

David was a commercial cook and was a member of Grapevine Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Calvin Pendley; and his maternal grandfather, George Powell.

David is survived by his wife, Mrs. Melissa Pendley of Madisonville; his mother, Patricia Pendley-Carty of Madisonville; his father, Jimmy Pendley of Madisonville; two brothers, Matthew Lewis Pendley of Madisonville and Austin Dakota Pendley of Marietta, Ga.; one step-brother, Jeremy Allison; one step-sister, Brianna Allison, both of Madisonville; three sons, Calvin Pendley, Michael Pendley, II, and George Pendley, all of the home; paternal grandmother, Joana Billings of Paducah; maternal grandmother, Martha Powell of Princeton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
