Funeral services for Rev. Corey Eugene Wilson, 43, of Cadiz, were held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Cave Spring Baptist Church in Cerulean. The Revs. Charles Radford and Horatio Knight officiated. Burial followed in the Cave Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Corey Wilson died of natural causes at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.

He was born on Oct. 25, 1969, in Caldwell County to Eugene and Lela Gray Wilson.

Corey was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church where he served as Associate Minister and with Outreach Ministry. He previously worked as a Track Tech at the railroad before becoming disabled.

He is survived by his wife, Shelita Wilson of Cadiz; his parents, Eugene and Lela Wilson of Cerulean; one brother, Jason Wilson (and wife Tiffany) of Princeton; one sister, Savonya Potts of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Tiffany Quarles of Eaton, Colo. and Jasmine Crenshaw of Cerulean; one step-daughter, Amber Wilkins of Greenville, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
