Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Hooks, 61, of Cadiz, were held on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Revs. Norman Cotton and Paxton Redd officiated. Burial followed in the Bogard Cemetery in Land Between the Lakes. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Jerry Hooks died on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz.

Jerry was a self- employed plumber and electrician, he was of the Baptist faith and was also a member of Cadiz Masonic Lodge No. 121.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Hooks; and one sister, Elizabeth “Sissy” Hooks.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Hooks of Cadiz; three brothers, Larry, William and Jeff Hooks, all of Cadiz; one son, Jerry Hooks (and wife Kelli) of Cadiz; two daughters, Kelly Hooks of Cadiz and Marci Hooks of Indiana; five grandchildren, Katlyn Hooks, J.R. Lynch, Elijah Wayne Smith, Kace Bright and Jackson Finley.

Serving as pallbearers were Billy Hooks, Kyle Hooks, Mason Hooks, Brian Paul Oliver, Kyle Finley, Michael Anderson and Jeff Hooks.
