The Wildcats knocked off Stewart County, Tenn. 64-33 last Tuesday and won 81-48 Friday at Community Christian Academy before losing 92-65 at Hopkinsville on Monday.
The Wildcat starters saw little second-half action in the blowout wins. Against Stewart County, Deonquez Nance led the way with 21 points, David Wease scored 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, and Dee Murphy chipped in 12 points.
Against CCA, 11 Wildcats contributed points, led by Nance with 28 and Wease with 12.
Monday, Trigg struggled to keep pace with Hopkinsville, one of the top teams in the 2nd Region. Trigg trailed by 11 points after the first quarter and by 20 at halftime.
Nance scored 25 points to lead four Wildcats in double figures – Corbin Estes with 14 and Murphy and Cole Gardner with 11 apiece.
The Wildcats returned to action Tuesday against Dawson Springs (results unavailable at press time).
