Mary McClellan died of natural causes at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Cadiz.
Mary was born on Jan. 24, 1923, in Detroit, Mich., to Jack Brown and Zulma DeFour Brown.
She was a member of St. Joseph Shrine in Onsted, Mich., and St. Stephens Catholic Church in Cadiz. She retired 1n 1952 from Ford Motor Company as a comptometer operator. Mary was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for more than 60 years and a 30-year Veterans Hospital volunteer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J. McClellan; her parents, Jack and Zulma Brown; and one sister, Doris Brown.
Mary is survived by one daughter, Maggie Christie (and husband John) of Cadiz; four grandchildren, Matthew Williams (and wife Shelley) of Whitmore Lake, Mich.; Robert Williams (and wife Janet) of Farmington Hills, Mich., Vincent Williams (and wife Kelly) of Clarkston, Mich. and Stephen Williams (and wife Toni) of Wyoming, Mich.; and two great-grandchildren, Connor and Abegael Williams of Farmington Hills, Mich.
