Ronald Bryant died following a long illness at 7:37 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at his home.
Ronald was born on May 30, 1945 in Peoria, Ill., to the late Glen Bryant and Phyllis Roby Bryant.
Ronald attended East Cadiz Baptist Church. He was a retired machinist from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 30 years of service and had worked for Knight Construction.
Ronald was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam era and was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis J. Bryant; four brothers, Robert L. Roby, Robert E. Bryant, Glenn A. Bryant, and twin brother Richard W. Bryant.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bonnie Bryant of Cadiz; three sisters, Dorothy J. Carroll of Alabama, Shirley Stanberry of Alabama and Carol L. Bryant of Peoria, Ill.; three sons, Ronnie Joe Bryant, Rich Bryant (and wife Kathy), all of Peoria, Ill. and Anthony Joseph “Tony” Bryant of Cadiz; one daughter, Amy Bryant Poston (and husband Shawn) of Peoria, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; special friends, Nickey Knight, Roger Knight, Chris Wallace, Jake Wallace, Steve Emery, Scotty Yewell and Monty Stagner.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Bryant, Rich Bryant, Paul Saupe, Ed Saupe, Lester Smith, Bobby Smith and Donnie Smith.
