A 4-foot-bu-4-foot wooden Barn quilt square is made of weatherized wood and framed for hanging. It was painted by local artist, Joan Demers, and has been sealed for protection from the elements.
Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and are available at the Futrell House Bed and Breakfast on Main Street in Cadiz, Cadiz/Trigg Tourism Commission offices at I-24 and Rt. 68 or Cadiz Comfort Zone 22 Main Street, Cadiz.
A drawing for the winner will take place Sunday, March 24, at 12 noon at Lake Barkley State Resort Park Civil War Field located at the corner of Blue Springs Road and Airport Road.
“The Tourist Commission is excited that this event is being held in Trigg County. Right now we have over 200 reenactors planning to attend with more signing up each week as time gets closer.” says Bill Stevens, from the Tourist Commission.
