Graveside services for Roger Dale Dillingham, 65, of Bowling Green, formerly of Cadiz, were held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Page Cemetery in Dover, Tenn. The Rev. Irvin Darnall officiated. Burial followed in the Page Cemetery. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Roger Dillingham died following a lengthy illness at 8 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

He was born on Oct. 3, 1947 in Detroit, Mich., to the late James Russell and Virgie Vires Dillingham.

Roger was a truck driver. He served in the United States Army Reserves for 12 years. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cadiz Masonic Lodge No. 121.

Roger is survived by his wife, Rita Dillingham of Bowling Green; one son, James Russell Dillingham (and wife DeAnna); two daughters, Jennifer and Natalie Dillingham,; one grandchild, Joseph Glen Dillingham; cousin and ward, Bill Vires, all of Bowling Green; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Freddie and Libby Darnall of Cadiz; one aunt, Eloise Quinlan of Detroit, Mich. and several nieces and nephews.
