Funeral services for Johnnie Mack Stewart, 88, of Cerulean, were held on Friday, March 8, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. Hank Cayce officiated. Burial followed in the Cerulean Cemetery. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Stewart died of natural causes at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Bradford Heights in Hopkinsville.

Johnnie Mack was born on Oct. 20, 1924, in Cerulean to James Clarence and Ora Lee Hankley Stewart.

Johnnie Mack was a member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church and he was a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Edward Stewart; and one brother-in-law, Edward Taylor McWaters.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Cameron Stewart of Cerulean; one sister, Catherine McWaters of Cerulean; one sister-in-law, Lois Stewart of Cerulean and many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Danny Stewart, Steven McWaters, Freddie McWaters, Carl Edward Hale, Charles Simpson, Glenn Simpson and Jeff Simpson. Music was provided by Theresa Simpson, pianist.
