Funeral services for Naomi Corneal, 60, of Cadiz, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz. Visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. until the service hour. The Rev. Kenny Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery at a later date. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Naomi Corneal died of natural causes at 10:09 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at her home.

She was born on July 14, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisc., to Albert Prott and Anita Booher Prott.

Naomi was of the Catholic faith. She had been a teacher for the Trigg County School System. Naomi was also a disabled veteran. She served with the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era.

Naomi was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Prott; and grandmother, Margaret Larson.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Marion “Chet” Corneal of Cadiz; her father, Albert Prott of Rhinelander, Wisc. ; two brothers, Phillip Prott of Chico, Calif. and Russ Prott of Herndon, Wisc.; and one daughter, Jennifer Corneal of Mobile, Ala.
