A woman and her great-grandson who were reported missing Thursday night were found later Thursday night, but the woman was found dead.

Trigg County Sheriff Ray Burnam said 62-year-old Waynette Miller Cain and her seven-month-old great-grandson were reported missing at about 9 p.m. Thursday night, and that no foul play was suspected.

When they were located on South Road late Thursday night by Trigg County Rescue, the seven-month-old was alive but Cain was already dead, after which the Kentucky State Police took over, said Burnam.
