Alexander finished his Wildcat career with 90 goals and 72 assists, both placing him at the top in the program. He spent most of the 2013 season in the top three in the state in assists and finished the season with a career-high 36. His career-high in goals is his 2011 total of 37.
Alexander said he was attracted to Georgetown’s academic programs, but he also expects the opportunity to contribute to the soccer team right away. He said he is in consistent contact with Georgetown head coach Derek Willis, and that their current conversations center on making sure Alexander stays in shape heading into the summer.
Alexander said he also considered Bethel University in McKenzie, Tenn.
Alexander, who said he is undecided on a major, said he’s looking forward to the challenge of playing against better competition.
