Funeral services for Clarence “Red” Sexton, 77, of Cadiz, will be held at a later date. Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Clarence Sexton died of natural causes at 5 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, at his home in Cadiz.

He was born on Oct. 10, 1935, in Garrett to the late Chester and Bertha LeMaster Sexton.

Clarence was a retired tool and dye maker and he was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Perry and Cletus Sexton; and one sister, Delena Osbourne.

He is survived by his wife Anna Sexton of Cadiz; two brothers, David Sexton of Willard, Ohio and Bill Sexton of Ohio; two sisters, Myrtle Clark and Doncella Courtwright, both of Willard, Ohio; one son, Terry Johnson of Mansville, Ohio, two daughters, Mae Handshoe of Kendallville, Ind. and Mary Baucum of Cadiz; two stepsons, Willie Shepherd of Cadiz and Wayne Shepherd of Nashville, Tenn.; and two stepdaughters, Joanne Walker of Nashville, Tenn. and Joyce Bonner of Hopkinsville.
