Tyler Knight and Stuart Boyd, along with other students from around the state, participated in the Legislative Page program at the State Capitol in Frankfort.

Tyler is a senior at Trigg County High School, and Stuart is an 8th grader at Trigg County Middle School. Both students submitted an essay on “Why I want to be a Legislative Page”, as well as, artwork depicting how Family Resource and Youth Service Centers make a difference in their school.

Tyler served as a page for Representative Brent Yonts, and Stuart served as a page for Representative John Tilley on the house floor. Both Tyler and Stuart have participated in the Kentucky Youth Association (KYA) conference in the past; however, being a legislative page gave them a first-hand view of how our state government operates.

This program is sponsored by the FRYSCKY Coalition, a nonprofit organization that provides legislative advocacy, as well as, support for Family Resource and Youth Service Center coordinators and staff.
