Wilford Wyatt died following a short illness at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Riversbend Retirement Center in Kuttawa.
Wilford was born on May 27, 1921, in Trigg County to the late Sherman Franklin and Bessie Sholar Wyatt.
Wilford was a retired Baptist minister and he was also a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Baker Wyatt of Princeton; one brother, Leslie Wyatt of Nashville, Tenn.; four sons, Amos Wyatt (and wife Martha) of Princeton, James Wyatt (and wife Delia) of Concord, N.C., David Wyatt (and wife Linda) of Portage, Ind. and Tommy Wyatt (and wife Natalie) of Princeton; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Jason, Michael, Scott, Craig and Seth Wyatt and Logan Patterson. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Painter, Ryan Schott, Jeremy Hillyard and Chris Patterson.
