To the editor:

Mowing season is upon us, and once again we are in need of funds to pay for the mowing. As we all know with the economy in its current state, we are not receiving enough interest to keep the cemetery up to standards. It is my belief that we owe to our loved ones to keep their final resting place as beautiful as we can. There are also many issues besides mowing that need to be addressed. If you would like to help by donating to the mowing fund or by working in the cemetery, please contact Sharon Darnall or Dorothy McKinney. It is our prayer that the Lord will bless you while you respect your loved ones with a beautiful environment in which to rest in peace. We are currently scheduled for a workday on Saturday, June 1 for anyone who would like to participate. For more information please contact Dorothy McKinney at 270-388-7905.
