Marvin Heilmann died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Home in Evansville.
Marvin was born on Nov. 21, 1928, to Gustave G. and Flora Marie Heilmann. He married Luella Weitkamp in 1956. She preceded him in death in 1989. In 1990, he married Jacqueline Eberhard, who passed away in 2011.
Marvin was a United States Army Korean War veteran. He was a talented tool and die maker. He started his career at Whirlpool and later opened his own company, Heilmann Tool and Manufacturing Co., Inc. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He spent his retirement years in Cadiz until moving back to Evansville, Ind., in 2011. He was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Evansville, Ind., which his family helped found. The church was very important to Marvin and he was actively involved in many ways.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
