FOOTBALL: McKenzie, Wilson perform well at Hatcher QB School

A pair of Trigg County High School football players attended Murray State University head coach Chris Hatcher’s QB School last weekend.

Trigg head coach Coby Lewis said senior quarterback Luke McKenzie earned the Top Gun Award as the overall best performer at the camp and also won the long-ball contest with a throw of 59 yards.

Freshman quarterback Tyreke Wilson also attended the camp and won the ninth-10th-grade long-ball competition with a throw of 52 yards.
