We are so blessed to live in a community where there is so much love and goodness in the hearts and minds of the residents of this wonderful place. As I try to write this letter, I am simply moved to tears. I don’t know how to express what is in my heart. I love Trigg County and you are it.
There were over 60 youth that participated in Camp Cadiz. God is good, all the time. These young people inspired youth leaders and church leaders to pray and seek God’s leadership in a way that they could show Christ and his love to others. From a large construction job to a car wash, they did it. God provided some wonderful and skilled leadership, one would teach a youth to saw or to measure another would share in the breaking of spiritual food. Churches all over the county provided meals breakfast, lunch and supper. They even had volunteers to do laundry.
When you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto me. Yes, I was a recipient of this wonderful and kind act of grace. I merit and deserve no good thing, and then God places me here where he can bless me beyond measure.
I have not mentioned any names for fear that I might miss someone. I know there are some that will never know their names, but Jesus does and I’m praying that you will know how wonderful you are and how much joy you have brought to Barbara and I.
We love you. God bless you.
