They were named runner-up in the regional contest. The team members were Marcanah Frye, Taylor Gray, Sarah Shipley and Stephanie Thomas. Cecelia Hostilo served as the team coach.
The competition was sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. Each county could enter a team of high school students. They had to develop a recipe with at least 5 Kentucky grown products.
The girls looked at several recipes and decided to modify a pasta recipe. After many days of cooking, the girls had perfected their recipe, Fettuccine Primavera. We hope you enjoy it too!
