Youth ages 9 – 13 can attend 4-H camp; this year our camp theme was “Clover Dynasty” after the popular show Duck Dynasty. Along with all the fun activities there was a wildlife program, in which educated kids on the importance of wildlife preservation. There was also a dress up night where you could dress as your favorite Duck Dynasty character or wear your camo.
We also had a game call contest. During the day the kids take classes, which include swimming, canoeing, riflery, archery, outdoor cooking, fishing and more. The evenings are filled with fun events like field games, swimming and dances. The last night of camp we have a campfire.
I would like to thank many who helped make camp a success for everyone. The adult and teen leaders who gave up a week of their summer to teach classes, stay in cabins and lead programs during camp.
