My fiction “Pam’s Pick” is of course “Second Honeymoon” by James Patterson. The FBI is after a pair of serial killers whose victims all have one chilling thing in common: they’re on honeymoon.
New Fiction: “The Other Typist” by Suzanne Rindell, this story is part mystery part comedy. Rose Baker can send a person away for life in prison with just a touch of the keys. A typist in a New York City Police Department precinct, Rose is like a high priestess.
“The Ocean at the End of the Lane” by Neil Gaiman, this is a moving story of memory, magic, and survival. When a middle-aged man returns to his childhood home for a funeral he remembers frightening childhood memories relating to the neighbor girl who promised to protect him from the darkness unleashed by a suicide at the pond at the end of their street.
“The Edge of the Earth” by Christina Schwarz, this is a magical story of secrets. Trudy leaves the comforts of home and family for love. She and her husband take a job at a lighthouse. ⌘Where she finds secrets hidden between the sea and the fog.
“The Eye of God” by James Rollins, this is a Sigma Force novel. Commander Pierce and Sigma joined by a pair of Vatican historians race to uncover a truth tied to the fall of the Roman Empire.
“The Wrong Man” by David Ellis, criminal defense attorney Jason Kolarich returns in this new novel. As Jason races to find the truth in time to save his client, he finds himself in a mystery involving the Mob. Can he save his client and himself?
“One Heart to Win” by Johanna Lindsey, this is the story of hidden identities, family secrets and a family feud. Tiffany is sent to the Montana Territory to marry a family enemy in hopes of ending a feud. But can she marry a man who is in love with another woman?
“Tell Me” by Lisa Jackson, this is an electrifying thriller. Blondell O’Henry was convicted of killing her teenage daughter twenty years ago and wounding her two younger children. “A Vow for Always” by Wanda Brunstetter, this is a Discovery: A Lancaster County Saga, book 6. Luke’s memory is coming back little by little. Can Luke make it home before it’s too late?
New Large Print: “The Typewriter Girl” by Alison Atlee, this is a historical romance. Betsey is a young woman at the turn-of-the-century England who finds love and independence at a seaside resort.
“The Apple Orchard” by Susan Wiggs, this is a heartwarming story of a young woman who discovers a new life of simple pleasures. Tess Delaney has inherited an apple orchard in California from a grandfather she never knew and that she shares it with a half-sister. For the first time in her life she can say she is happy.
