I want to give an “atta boy” to the Trigg County road workers for an outstanding job that didn’t have to be done.
We moved in Rockcastle Shores on a dead end road, and the road was not suitable for a horse and buggy. I called the road department and talked to a supervisor, and he explaned to me they couldn’t fix it – something about funds, no thoroughfair, no traffic, that they could not do it.
The next day, the wife said there was a white pickup down the road. I didn’t think anything about it. The dead end sign was behind the trees – we always had company not visiting. The next day, I come home from work and the trees were trimmed, the trainage was dug out – it looked halfway decent. About a week later, I came home from work and all the holes were patched. It started looking good. I am retired Army, 82nd.You know how we are.
I can’t remember what the supervisor’s name was – you know who you are. All I want to say to the Trigg County Road Deptartment – GOOD JOB.
