Roughly 125 students participated last year in the event. and Cadiz Renaissance Director Leida Underhill is hoping for 200 this year. She said the only major difference this year is that there won’t be a bouncer this time.
“We are hoping for the same sponsors to come out and head up the activities like last year,” said Underhill. “Our prizes will be focused on family games or outings rather than a lot of small items.”
Judy L. Rousseau, RN, BSN, of the Pennyrile District Health Department, said the event is sponsored by the Trigg County Health and Wellness Team and other community sponsors, and that everything will be free to everyone, including admission, activities, healthy snacks, water and door prizes.
