“The approaches on both sides will be gravel for now, and after it has a while to settle, we’ll come back in and pave those approaches, and it’ll be just like it used to be,” said Trigg County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander. “It is crossable now.”
The completion of construction was discussed when the Trigg County Fiscal Court met Monday evening.
Magistrate Rick Nelson said the bridge looks good so far, with 10 feet of clearance from the bottom of the creek bed to the bridge.
Delmont Church Road resident David Hazelmyer thanked the court for replacing the bridge.
