The Way is relocating to the Cadiz Baptist Church Annex for at least a year.

In a board meeting Thursday night, the church voted unanimously to allow The Way to use the Annex until a more permanent location can be found, said The Way representative Carl Heckmann.

“We offered to pay rent, but they have asked we apply it towards future home for The Way,” said Heckman. “We have asked they consider allowing us to at least cover our utilities costs. We will be responsible for cleaning the building after use and keeping toiletries furnished.”

The move started on Saturday morning, with most of the equipment already moved, and Heckmann says they hope to complete the move “in the near future.” The Way will have slightly modified hours in order to accommodate Cadiz Baptist Church ministries like Upward Basketball, but Heckmann says God is already making the transition a smooth one.
