Trigg County High School’s boys golf team won Saturday’s Dawson Springs Invitational at Pennyrile State Park Golf Course, led by individual winner Nick Choate (center).

Trigg County High School’s boys golf team has continued its winning ways, picking up three victories in the last week.

On Monday, the Wildcats combined for a team score of 153 to defeat Crittenden County (169), Livingston Central (190) and Lyon County (incomplete team) at Boots Randolph Golf Course.

Nick Choate led Trigg and all players, earning medalist honors with a 1-under-par 35. Cole Gardner finished with a round of 36, followed for Trigg by Jackson Vinson and Carter Sholar, who each shot 41, and Kullen Garner at 42.

Trigg was the only school to field a full team in the girls match. Madison Chaney was the medalist with a round of 39, followed for Trigg by Alex Ethridge (55), Jordan Jones (61) and Chelsea Bozynsky (63).
