Funeral services for Morris Ray “Moe” Lynn, Jr., 52, of Cadiz, were held on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. Denny Francis officiated. Burial followed at Knight and Hale Cemetery in Trigg County. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Morris Lynn died on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at his home in Cadiz.

Morris had worked as a riverboat engineer and also for Knight and Hale Game Calls. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of Canton Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Lynn Lynn, Sr.; step-father, Lawrence Jones; sister, Helen Colbert; maternal grandparents John and Letha Goodin; paternal grandparents Elza and Marie Lynn.

Morris is survived by his wife Stacey Bullock Lynn of Cadiz; mother Jean Jones of Cadiz; five brothers, Mike Lynn of Cadiz, Lawrence “Lynn” Jones of Denver, Colo., Donnie Jones of Cadiz; Thomas Jones of Denver, Colo. and Jimmy Jones of Cadiz; four sisters, Laverne Tramel of Irvington, Catherine Groeninger, of Cadiz, Bea Rice of Jonesboro, La. and Denise Bull of Russellville, Ark.; one son, Matthew Lynn of Cadiz; two daughters, Samantha Knowlton of Perkins, Okla. and Bailee Lynn of Cadiz; father and mother-in-law Donnie and Francis Bullock of Cadiz; step-mother, Mary Lynn of Atkins, Ark. Granny- Ruth Smith of Cadiz; one grandson, Andrew Knowlton of Perkins, Okla. and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Jason Boyd, Gary Houha, Brent Stewart, Chris Stewart, Preston Groves, Andrew Walker, Jason Sumner and Danny Reddick.
