Randy Wade died on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at his home in Cadiz.
He was born on June 27, 1953, in Trigg County to Robert Earl and Goldie Marie Stone Wade.
Randy Wade was the Trigg County Facilities and Emergency Management Director. Randy was also the former owner/operator of Randy’s Repair Service. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where he was also a song leader. Randy served as a deacon at Delmont Baptist Church for 18 years, and he also taught Sunday school at both Delmont Baptist and Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a member of The East Golden Pond Volunteer Fire Department, LEPC, Trigg County Rescue, Haz Mat 2, a Kentucky Colonel, a Red Cross Volunteer and the Pennyrile Emmaus/Chrysalis Community.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl and Goldie Marie Stone Wade; and brother Douglas Earl Wade.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Wade of Cadiz; sister Linda Oliver (and husband Daniel) of Newburgh, Ind.; one son, Jason Wade (and wife Sarah) of Cadiz; one daughter, Michelle Dimmick (and husband Jay) of Cadiz; four grandchildren, Jamee Noel, Trenton Noel, Gauge Wade and Avery Wade; three sisters-in-law, Connie Anderson and Linda Cook, both of Cadiz and Glenda Wade of Dallas, Texas; four brothers-in-law, Dilman Anderson of Cadiz, Larry Anderson of Cerulean, Roger Anderson and Tad Anderson, both of Cadiz; and extended family, Thomas Harper of Bowling Green and Anita Harper of Hopkinsville.
Serving as active pallbearers were Kevin Marlowe, Thomas Harper, Jonathan Stewart, Randy Lee Anderson, Trenton Noel and Michael Anderson. Serving as honorary pallbearers were the East Golden Pond Volunteer Fire Department Members and the Trigg County Rescue Members. Music was provided by Delmont Baptist Church Choir, Billy Barnes and Barnes Family, vocalists, and Caitlin Pillow, instrumentalist.
