Cadiz’s Renaissance on Main organization is putting up signs on local businesses that primarily indicate how long those businesses have been in operation.

Cadiz Renaissance Director Leida Underhill calls it the “Main Street” Business Recognition” program. She says the signs are provided to businesses on Main Street or within the Cadiz city limits without charge.

“Renaissance on Main wants to recognize Cadiz businesses for their contribution to the local economy and tourism goodwill,” said Underhill. “By filling the empty storefronts with exciting and everchanging merchandise, our merchants have contributed to the flow of tourists through our town and county while providing residents with a variety of shopping choices.”
