At last Tuesday’s meeting of the Trigg County Fiscal Court, Alexander noted some of the changes, which will affect Election Day sales and some housekeeping measures for businesses. The changes in the state’s alcohol laws took effect on June 25.
“Some things about our alcohol ordinance will have to be updated,” said Alexander. “The license renewal dates have to be updated to match or mirror the state’s. They’ve changed the laws. At the same meeting, magistrates approved several items as surplus for an auction that was held at the Trigg County Road Department on Friday.
