TRACK AND FIELD: Trigg runners open season at Madisonville, run at Murray

Trigg County’s cross country team competed Saturday at a meet in Murray.

Trigg’s high school boys finished 10th as a team, with individual results as follows:

J.B. Hendricks, 43rd, 20:26.4; Qyntevis Wilcox, 51st, 20:52.6; Austin Pugh, 56th, 21:21.1; Matthew Chinn, 58th, 21:34.5; Ethan Dossett, 59th, 21:44.1; Caleb Martin, 70th, 22:32.4; John Chinn, 75th, 23:36.8; Daniel Martin, 95th, 25:09.9; River Sittig, 98th, 25:23.9.

The TCHS girls finished ninth, with runners including the following:

Libby Redd, 52nd, 27:31.4; Rylee Bush, 54th, 27:33.4; Breanna Barnes, 58th, 28:06.7; Koryn Hatfield, 59th, 28:10.1; Gracie Hill, 66th, 30:22.8; Livi Ricks, 70th, 30:22.8; Bethany Morgan, 78th, 32:02.2; Paige Dunn, 79th, 33:03.8; Morgan Hendricks, 82nd, 33:59.6; Heather Hall, 94th, 40:58.6.
