Cadiz, widely known for its beautiful lakes, recreation areas and its annual Ham Festival in October is seeking to be identified with great Christian music, as well.

For the second consecutive year, churches from Little River Baptist Association, with support from other county churches and businesses, are hosting one of the largest “free to the public” contemporary Christian music gatherings in the Commonwealth.

Youth Explosion 2013 will take place on Saturday on the grounds of the Trigg County School System, 205 Main St.in Cadiz.

This year’s concert features “The Only Name Tour” headlined by the Dove Award winning group Big Daddy Weave, which has had the longest running No.1 hit, “Redeemed”, on the Contemporary Christian charts in 2013.
